Poster Presentation at the XIX Conference of the Italian LCA Network Association

From March 19-21, in the stunning setting of Cortina d’Ampezzo, the XIX Conference of the Italian LCA Network Association took place. On this occasion, Cristina Polacchi presented a poster on the sustainability assessment of agrivoltaic systems, developed as part of the Work Package 4 (WP4) activities.

The study proposes an innovative methodology to evaluate the social and environmental sustainability of agrivoltaic systems, considering the entire life cycle of the system and its multifunctionality. Additionally, the poster illustrates specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) linked to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). To complete the analysis, an evaluation questionnaire was developed to assign scores to various KPIs based on the agrivoltaic system’s performance.

A heartfelt thank you to the authors of this research: Cristina Polacchi, Marcel Macarulla Martí, Atse Louwen, David Moser, and Giovanni Borz.
